Put together a cold weather safety kit for your car. Include first aid items, a flashlight with fresh batteries, a blanket, chemical hand-warmer packets, a snow brush, ice scraper, a shovel, energy bars/snacks, water, a blanket, jumper cables, and warm clothing including hat, gloves, boots, and a coat. You should also have a fully-charged cell phone.
